I added a skirack but the crossbars were to thin and couldn’t sinch up the ski rack tighter so needed this to wrap around the bars on the 4Runner and worked like a champ. It grabs great to the bar with nothing more to secure it onther then the Yakaima ski rack.

Nice quality. Was exactly what I needed. Easy to cut with a sharp knife. The piece you receive is cut from a roll so it won't be completely uniform. Note that if you need a specific size you may want to get a bigger piece so you can make a square cut on your own.

Perfect thickness for me to attach it to my factory Yamaha fenders and add 2" stop the mud from flying back since I added new wider tires. It is rigid enough to hold shape and still conform to the fender shape. Looks like a factory add on. Very pleased

My reason for ordering: I am restoring an old truck and purchased a new plastic fuel tank. Well the straps that hold it in are metal and when you tighten the straps the tank hits metal on the frame to hold it in place. So what do I use to cushion it so the metal doesn't rub through? Found this stuff and thought Id give it a try. Worked PERFECTLY! it is solid rubber, not foam like some other products I found. Clean the surface good and stick it on and its not going anywhere. Used to make wind flap in my dog's dog house. Works great. Supple and flexible, hangs nice and straight. Seems very durable. I also ordered custom cut rubber strips to put between ladder rack and my pickup bed rails. Product came cut exactly right, and the cuts were perfectly straight. I used slightly thicker rubber for the bed rails than I did for the dog house. I will do business again. People complain about the odor. It just smells like a tire shop. But once it airs out for a day or two, the smell is gone. Not sure what all the fuss is about.
