New and replacement twin track polar ribbed PVC curtain strips for Twin Track rails. These heavy duty freezer PVC strips are available in two widths and thickness. Cut to your required length and drilled with hanging holes – ready to make or repair any Twin Track door curtains.
Ideal for use in commercial freezers and all other below zero areas. Often called buffer strips, they provide increased resistance to damage in areas of heavy use. Additional plasticiser in the PVC formula helps the strip remain flexible and resist cracking down to -24°C. Unbeatable energy-saving performance, hardwearing and long lasting. ALL SIZES NOMINAL
Twin track polar ribbed PVC curtain strips should only be used in freezer environments. In warmer locations, the extra plasticiser can make the PVC feel ‘sticky’ which can make a curtain more difficult to pass through. The strip’s surface has multiple raised ribs running along its length (approx 2mm deep). These reduce the level of surface contact when items pass through a curtain. The ribs also give extra protection to the PVC surface, helping to minimise scuffs and scratches and helping to prolong its clarity. This extra durability makes it the ideal choice for areas of high wear and tear where pallet trucks and forklifts need to move quickly and freely between freezer areas.
We can supply new and replacement curtain strips using polargrade ribbed PVC for all twin track rail set ups. Priced by the linear metre, cut to your required length and punched ready to hang.

Hanging tip: Strips are supplied rolled-up. When first hung this may result in the base of the strips curling upwards slightly. This residual curl will naturally fall out given time. (It may take longer in cold conditions.) If possible, before hanging, unroll and leave to flatten out overnight. If this isn’t practical, try reverse rolling the strips or applying gentle heat.
