Galvanised Steel Hook On Curtain Rails
Galvanised steel hook on curtain rails are the quick and easy curtain rail format for pedestrian, pallet truck and light forklift use. Rails come in standard lengths that are simply screwed or bolted into position. Can be surface or soffit mounted and butted end to end to span any width of door. PVC strips attach to the rails using galvanised steel hook on plate sets (sold separately). ALL SIZES NOMINAL
Galvanised steel hook on curtain rails offer a more practical (and cheaper) alternative to our stainless steel option. Ideally suited for those environments where appearance is less important or for those seeking a more ‘industrial’ look to their curtain. Equally easy to fit as the stainless steel rails, they also require no ongoing maintenance. Once fitted, the rails take PVC strips fitted with corresponding galvanised steel hook on plate sets (sold separately). These simply hook onto the rails for ultimate ease / convenience.
Note: The rails are not self-supporting. They need mounting onto a structurally supporting surface like a beam, door frame or lintel across the whole span. If your strip curtain needs to withstand heavy / repeated use by forklifts or other powered vehicles, we would not recommend this rail system. More suitable would be the more robust Twin-Track rail or the heavy-duty Swivel-Hinge rail.
