High quality 50m frosted PVC rolls (also known as obscure PVC or privacy PVC). The PVC’s surface defuses the light passing thorough, allowing illumination but stopping any clear vision through – just like bathroom glass. Unbeatable energy-saving performance, hardwearing and long lasting.
This frosted / obscure PVC strip is ideal of areas where privacy is important. The PVC’s surface diffuses any light passing through. So daylight is still let into premisses to illuminate work areas, but anyone looking in won’t be able to see your employees, machinery or stock. From a Health & Safety point of view, delivery or forklift drivers will still be able to get a general sense of people or obstacles behind a curtain, helping them avoid possible accidents. Suitable for use with all recognised curtain hanging systems and ideally suited for all uses from light pedestrian to medium-duty commercial.

Longevity: PVC strip is considered a consumable product. How fast it’s consumed is beyond any manufacturer’s or supplier’s control. Its lifespan will be dictated by where it’s used, what type of traffic might move through it and how carefully (or aggressively) such traffic does so. To help maximise its working life, we always recommend that PVC curtains are fitted internally behind doors or openings that can provide a degree of shelter. If they’re fitted outside of a doorway or building, fully exposed to the elements all day and night, they can deteriorate and/or lose clarity more quickly. The rate of this will depend entirely on the severity of the local weather. We have some customers who replace their PVC annually… others who’ve had the same for many, many years.
