Anti-UV / Welding Green PVC Rolls (50m)
High quality 50m Anti-UV Green PVC rolls. Manufactured specifically for environments where protection against potentially harmful or damaging UV light is required. A highly flexible and hard wearing product used by many to make welding curtains and screens. We can offer two PVC grades: Basic Anti-UV or Certified Welding Anti-UV (ISO25980 / EN1598). ALL SIZES NOMINAL
In work environments were welding takes place, ‘arc-eye’ can be a major health-hazard for people in the vicinity of the welder at work. So effective screening is essential. During the manufacturing of this PVC, a special anti-UV formula is processed into the strip, meaning that, when used in curtains and/or screens as above, the effects of the intense UV light are reduced. Suitable for use with all recognised curtain hanging systems.
We offer two grades:
Basic (UV resistant). Anti-UV formula helps protect the strip from intense UV light. Allied to this, the darkened tint offers basic eye protection to those nearby.
Certified Welding (UV filtering). Uses the same dark tints, but increased levels of anti-UV formula provide greater eye-protection. (To EN1598 / ISO25980 grade.)

Longevity: PVC strip is considered a consumable product. How fast it’s consumed is beyond any manufacturer’s or supplier’s control. Its life span will be dictated by where it’s used, what type of traffic might move through it and how carefully (or aggressively) such traffic does so. We have some customers who replace their PVC annually… others who’ve had the same for many, many years.
