Though a bit on the pricey size this seal works wonderful. I used it to stop water coming into a storage shed that sits on a slab. This item was perfect for the job, easy to install and great seal, no more water!!

Product is very strong. Instructions were well written and easy to understand. Works great.

This product is very tough! It should hold up very well for a long time. It went down easily. No rain yet, but it has a tight seal so expecting it to do very well.

I like the product and was very pleased once we had finished installing it. Due to its stiffness it is difficult to work with but should be strong enough to keep stuff out of the garage so it is work the hassle.

So far so good! We installed these to help solve the flooding into our garage during the rain storms. This took a little bit of time to properly adhere it, but once in place, it has aided in resolving the flooding. A huge step forward!

I secured the strip to clean (not new) concrete using a construction adhesive, aligned along a snapped chalk line and weighted down slightly for a few hours before lowering the garage door on it. After 8 months of typically foul rainy northwest weather, not a drop of water has gotten past this weather strip, and it's on the windward side of the building. Good stuff.

Use it to stop rain from entering under garage door.so far it has worked as no rain has entered under the garage door.

Holding up well. We've had several blowing rains since install, and it's kept the garage perfectly dry. (As you can see in the attached pic, we ended up with a flat ledge outside the garage door, as we were planning on closing it in. But that never happened) I only wish I would have found this years earlier.

I laid it in place I cut it to fit in inside of
garage door channel. Plus I used chalk to mark where I laid down . So I knew where to put Constrution adhesive

Excellent product and it works. To glue it down make sure the surface is clean. Whatever you have to do to get it clean is the key. After cleaning tproughly I used Loctite PL 8x construction adhesive and I don't think it will ever come off of there. Gorilla glue makes a good construction adhesive as well. Just don't buy the cheap stuff and you should be fine. I taped the floor on both sides of the strip, applied adhesive and stuck it down. The tape kept the adhesive from getting all over the floor. Anyway, it works and is worth the money.

Heavy duty rubber strip that's easy to lay out beneath garage door bottom edge. Although this product looks easy to install, I have not applied any adhesive to keep it in place. Not quite sure what can be used as instructions do not indicate an appropriate type of adhesive. Will probably apply Liquid Nails compound for lack of anything else more specific. Note: instructions say not to install on asphalt. The threshhold seal comes coiled and the sucker weighs about 10 lbs.

It keeps the water out. It was easy to install, just cut it to fit, glue it down and close the door. Use an adhesive and not a sealant to glue it down. I think it’s a little expensive for what it is but it does work.

Good product — here are installation tips.
#1) This is EPDM rubber, so you MUST use The correct glue type for adhesion. If you don’t it will not stick to the ground. I used E6000 (1 large tube) which worked well.
The following steps may help:
#1) power spray the garage floor. You don’t want the ground to be dirty because it will prevent the glue from working well.
#2) allow the floor to dry
#3) use a razor to cut out the edges of the threshold barrier to fit perfectly
#4) make sure it lines up with the flat part of the front edge underneath the garage door. You should be able to see the yellow line inside the garage.
#5) use a pencil to mark the front and back edges of the threshold barrier.
#6) use the glue about half an inch from your pencil lines with a zigzag pattern on the inside
#7) put on your threshold barrier number eight but down some weights on top of it to hold it in place for the rest of the afternoon while it cures. This part with the weights may not be necessary but I did it anyway because I didn’t want to take any chances and effectively clamping down the threshold barrier under the ground will help it tightly adhere
#9) let it sit for 24 hours before you drive anything on it
and that’s it. It’s a really great product but I think they should’ve warned people about the fact that it is EP DM rubber and you need to be careful about what kind of glue you choose to use. I used a 6000 and it worked great it’s sort of a black glue that hardens into a rubber similar to the threshold barrier itself.
So 5/5 stars for the product, but I removed one star because they could’ve included a warning to people to choose the correct glue for EPDM rubber

seems to do the trick. we'll see when the snow flies.

Easy to install.
I was using Liquid Nails LN-950 2 Pack 10 oz. Polyurethane Construction Adhesive,

Haven’t had an opportunity to clean concrete and use adhesive to properly put this down but as a storm approached my 18 foot door this morning I decided to just lay this down and put the door down on top of it and not one drop of water has come under the door where before it would be running in under the door by this time! I can’t wait to get it installed properly but it’s a great product. I bought the 20 foot strip because I have an 18 foot roll up door.

I have had to tell so many people in my neighborhood about this strip. It keeps bugs out! It keeps cold, heat, and rain from washing into my garage. It seals the garage door down to the ground so you do not see the daylight coming in from under the door. I had some leftover and used it at my front storm door and it keeps the bugs, cold, heat from getting under there too. Order the glue that it suggests to come with it. Measure twice, cut once, I then used chalk to mark both sides of the concrete to keep it in the place that it fit the best after raising and lowering the door a few times. Then roll it up on one end and start glueing it down in a zigzag pattern as you go, careful to not use too much glue or you will not have enough to the end. Then go back and carefully squeeze it down with foot pressure to push the glue along the entire bottom. The chalk will wear off in a few days.

Could not be easier to install. The directions are clear and easy to follow. A simple razor knife, a pencil, and adhesive is all it takes. Easy to cut to length, once placed correctly and location is marked just put down the construction adhesive, place it and close the door...took me less than 8 minutes start to finish. Really does work too...
Andre
Really happy with the purchase!

So happy we found this product. We installed the 2 " threshold and it works wonderfully. Be sure you have a sharp hack saw or snipers to cut around the metal door frame as we took it to the wall.
Diane
Followed step by step instructions for an easy installation!
Works perfectly.

My garage is the lowest on the block so all the leaves and water would just pile up and come through my door gap. Now it's not a problem. I love it.
Octopus
Purchased it from my sister who has issues with water getting into her garage and lives next to the beach; prevents water from entering garage with out Florida downpours. I did have a professional garage person install it in order for it to be positioned correctly. I wanted to purchase one for our house in Hawaii but there was either an issue with expensive shipping or they didn't ship to our location

I’m very pleased with this threshold protector for my garage to keep critters out. It’s not Exactly easy to cut to size, but that just means it’s not sturdy. I purchased this version and then a cheaper option a third of the price. I stuck with this one- it’s worth the extra money since it’s heavier and sturdier than the cheaper competitors. Additionally, it’s heavy enough to stay down without the adhesion.
